Tashia Dare is a lecturer in Museum Studies at the University of Kansas. Tashia holds an MA in Religious Studies (ancient Near East and Mediterranean), a Graduate Certificate in Peace and Conflict Studies, and a BA in Art History, all from the University of Kansas. Areas of interest include the impacts of armed conflict on cultural heritage and museums, antiquities trafficking and repatriation, and the use of cultural heritage as a peacebuilding, meditation, and reconciliation tool in post-conflict situations. Dare has worked in a variety of museums.
